Welcome to the Bi-Annual VRChat eSports Counter Strike 2 Tournament.

What were planning:

Tournament involving teams of VRChat users. (preferably 5-6 people max)

Where do I create a team:

Visit the #teams channel in Discord to create a thread with your team members.

When will this happen:

Date is still TBD, right now the focus is on gather those interested, forming teams, and preparing the process.

What are the rules:

Those participating must be a VRChat user.

Obviously no cheating,* (this may be enforced by requiring the players to be in separate voice chat rooms within this discord and having their screen shared for referee enforcement, or the use of FaceIt or other anticheat software)*

Technical issues such as disconnects will be handled with time-outs, if a player is unable to reconnect to the match the teams may vote to start the match over to ensure fairness of a full 5v5 match. If a match is started over and a disconnect occurs again the team may not start over a second time.

Teams may substitute players for each round so long as the players were registered to their team before the tournament begins, no substitutes will be allowed after the tournament teams are locked in.

Will this be streamed:

Yes, we plan on streaming this to Twitch/X, and having commentators provide expert analysis, insights, and play-by-play commentary while the matches are live, and to provide an enjoyable level of excitement between plays.

Will there be DJs:

Yes, both playing, commentating, and possibly as background music while the commentary is ongoing.

Will there be a prize:

Yes, lots of clout... *and maybe some $ or sponsorship prizes? (tbd)*

A commemorative trophy is in the works, to be passed around with the winners names after each tournament, we hope those who win will add it to a world if they have one, or carry it around on their avatar as a toggleable item.

*Additionally we may seek other prizes for the winners and participants, maybe even sponsorship if there is interest, however this is still TBD.*
